Randall “Randy” Abrahams

Randall “Randy” Abrahams 71, died December 1, 2021 at NMC Health. He was born December 14, 1949 in Newton, Kansas to Elmer and Hazel (Porter) Abrahams.  On March 11, 1992 he married Cathy Stanhope at Newton and she survives of the home.

Randy attended First Baptist Church as he was growing up in Newton.  He was a 1967 graduate of Newton High School and retired from Boeing Aircraft as a Machinist.

He enjoyed working in the yard and garden and spending time working in his garage on projects.  Randy was a upbeat person and always had a smile happy greeting for people around town.

He is survived by his wife Cathy of the home; daughters Lisa Barham and Stacey Reffner; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Bradley and Bevan and sister Camilla Kochenower.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Newton, Kansas.
