Richardo “Richard” Aranda

Ricardo “Richard” Aranda 74, died Wednesday April 20, 2016 at The Robert J. Dole V.A. Hospice Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born July 9, 1941 in El Paso, Texas to Esteban and Maria (Lucero) Aranda. He married Jessie Sifuentez and she survives of the home.  He served his country in the armed forces during Vietnam.  Richard attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton. He was a retired mobile home salesman.  Richard greatly enjoyed spending time golfing and shared his knowledge of golf with his family.  Family was very important to Richard and he looked forward to spending time with his loving family and many friends.

 

He is survived by his wife Jessie of the home; 3 daughters: Victoria Frydman and her husband Steve of Huntington Beach, CA, Laura Aranda and her husband Michael Weir of Chicago, IL, and Susana Valdes and her husband Gabriel of Flagstaff, AZ; One Sone Damian Aranda of Huntington Beach, CA; one brother Robert Aranda and his wife Josie of El Paso, TX and one sister Gloria Real y Vasquez and her husband George of Rowlette, TX.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

 

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Reverend Juan Garza, Celebrant. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 5 p.m. Sunday at OLG. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Newton with Military Honor’s
