Robert L. Anderson, 66, died on June 16, 2014 in Newton, Kansas.
Robert was born on December 8, 1947 in Newton to Kermit and Linda (Reimer) Anderson.
Robert served in the U.S. Navy, was a Vietnam Veteran and was retired from Railroad.
Robert had a great appreciation for music. He played guitar and was a drummer. He was a Civil War buff and enjoyed building jewelry boxes.
Robert had a good sense of humor, was funny, mischievous, and a lover of animals.
He is survived by his wife: Frances Buskey-Anderson; and sister: Barb Moulds; son Steve Anderson; and step-daughter Heidi Buskey & her husband Harriel Mack Sr.; and grandson Harriel Mack Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Kermit and Linda Anderson; sister, Diane Blair; and two sons.
A graveside committal will be held at 10 AM, Friday July 11, 2014 at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.
