Sarah Mary Swanson Glimpse

Sarah Mary Swanson Glimpse, beloved daughter, died Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Kansas City, Kansas, at the age of 32. She was born September 21, 1992, in Wichita, Kansas to Jeff and Jan (Swanson) Glimpse. Sarah Mary was a 2011 graduate of Newton High School. She found joy in longboarding, cosplay, tennis, video gaming, being outside, listening to and singing music, and attending music festivals and concerts. She was known for her kind, accepting and positive attitude towards everyone. She loved cats, especially her tabby Lemon. Sarah Mary was quirky, loveable, and fun. She was her own person. We will miss her playful spirit.

She is survived by her parents Jeff and Jan Glimpse (North Newton, KS); brother Erik (May Elaine) Glimpse (Austin, TX) and sister Elizabeth (Kailey Miller) Glimpse (Pasadena, CA); partner Logan Hendrickson; grandmothers Jean Swanson and Joyce Glimpse Madden; aunt Jennifer and uncle Michael Saltzman; and cousins Samantha and Sarah Saltzman.

A celebration of life service will be at Dyck Arboretum in Hesston, Kansas on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2 PM (Prairie Pavilion - North Building). Join us for refreshments and conversation after the service at Dyck Arboretum. The family requests that in memory of Sarah Mary’s exuberant personality, everyone dress in casual and colorful clothing to honor her hippie vibe. We welcome all who love and care for Sarah Mary to come and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sarah Mary’s name may be made to and left in care of Petersen Funeral Home Newton, Kansas for Planned Parenthood of Wichita, Kansas.
