Thursa Jarvis, died on March 7, 2022 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kanas. She was born March 26, 1974 in Eldorado, Kansas, to Curtis Edward Cole and Janie Sue Hampton.

Thursa graduated from Wichita State University with a Master’s in Social Work, and went on to be employed by Heartland Home Health & Hospice and El Dorado Correctional Facility as a licensed master social worker. She worked with many people and enjoyed making their lives better.

She met Jeff Jarvis and the two were married on December 5, 2015 in Winfield, Kansas. The two enjoyed many happy years together and found much joy and love in their family and 4 grandchildren.

Thursa is survived by her loving husband Jeff, one son, Parker Messamore, three daughters, Briauna (Preston) Barkdoll, Kailani Weier, and Tarra (Ryan) Thole. Four grandchildren, Waylon, June, Paisley and Creede. Brother Chad Cole and five sisters, Kristin Vitalie, Rabeka Drew, Casey Cole, Mallory Lies and Ashley McCreary.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Edna Hampton.

Memorial service is Tuesday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Petersen Funeral Chapel in Newton, Kansas. Graveside services with the family are to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita, Kansas.

Memorial donations may be made to Jeff Jarvis and left with Petersen Funeral Home. Floral tributes may also be sent to Petersen Funeral Home at 215 Main St. Newton Kansas.
