Vernon L. Androes

Vernon L. Androes of Walton KS died May 24, 2023. 

He was born to Abe & Olga Androes of Newton KS. After graduating High School he joined the Navy and did a minor tour of 3 yrs and 4 months. He got out of the Navy June 5th,1955.

He married Naomi (Jo) D Fluke November of 1956 and together they had 3 children. 

He worked for United Airlines as a baggage handler and retired after 30 years. 

Presiding him in death was his mother Olga Klassen Androes, died September 26, 1995, his father Abraham Herbert Androes, died November 29, 2000. 

He had one brother, Jerry Allen Androes who currently resides in Vietnam. His 3 children are Connie R. Gandy of Johnstown, CO, Gary W. Androes of Wheatridge, CO, and Stephanie R. Merritt of Johnstown, CO.  He has 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren & 3 great-great grandchildren. 

His hobbies were going to coffee with his friends and building little wooden boxes for friends and family.
