Vicky L. Frederick

Vicky L. Frederick 63 died Friday July 6, 2018 at her rural Halstead residence.  She was born October 1, 1954 in Herrington, Kansas to Samuel and Jackie (Ream) French.  ON October 7, 1972 she married Victor J. Frederick at Hutchinson, Kansas and he survives of the home.

Vicky was a homemaker who enjoyed being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She had a love of animals especially her dog and horse Mingo.  Trips to Colorado were a highlight for Vicky and she enjoyed motorcycle trips with her husband.  She had worked at the Harley Davidson dealership in Wichita where she enjoyed her time and made many friends.  Vicky enjoyed photography and looked forward to relaxing with a good book. 

She is survived by her husband Vic of the home; daughters Dina (Roland) Potter of Mulvane, Kansas and Shawna (Josh) Richter of Hutchinson, Kanasas; one brother Schy French of Colorado and one sister Roxie Isenagle of Austin, Texas.  She also has 5 granddaughters: Tristan Potter, Cheyenn West, Jadyn Potter, Sienna Richter and Samantha Richter.

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside Committal service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday July 9, 2018 at Restlawn Gardens of Memory rural Newton, Kansas with Chaplain John Hull presiding.  Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home.
