  9. I received the news of Victor’s passing with shock and sadness as I reflected on my years of living in Newton KS. Victor was our neighbor and my son Tony’s good friend. Victor was often at our home and it was always a pleasure to see him. I watched the boys grow up together and graduate high school and I know they stayed connected at times over the years. I remember him being a student for a time at Bethel College when I worked there and we talked about possible careers. Victor was a smart, cultured, sweet, well-mannered, caring young man with a lot of good in his heart to spread around the world. Victor was a part of the fabric of our years in Kansas. He was too young to go. Heartfelt condolences to Victor’s family. May you find peace in memories and prayer. I am so sorry for your loss.

  10. Victor was my first and best friend in middle school and high school. I will forever have memories of playing in the woods in the summer and winter seasons. We were obsessive about video gaming, always in the pool, and I will never forget the first Laser disk of Brave Heart watching it over and over with after school fully dressed baked potatoes. Victor was the sweetest, kindest, most gentle, giving friend anyone could ask for. This is very sad news and I wish I could be there to show my respect. I send my condolences to the entire family and all our mutual friends. Victor, you will be missed but never forgotten buddy. You will always be apart of my memories in this life and the next! Thank you for always being you!
