Vickie K. Rowland Moore

Vickie K. (Rowland) Moore 70, died Friday, December 16, 2016 at Kidron Bethel Healthcare in North Newton, Kansas. She was born April 9, 1946 in Newton, Kansas to her loving and faithful parents Emmert and Virginia Hanke Rowland.

Vickie attended Kansas State University and was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Newton. She also faithfully attended Menno Hall Chapel at Kidron Bethel Village for many years.  Vickie was active in the many activities offered at Kidron Bethel and earned a special place in the heart of the staff and residence of Kidron.  She was always quick with a smile and enjoyed visits with her loving family and many friends. The family wishes to express their deepest thank you and appreciation to the staff and administration of Kidron Bethel for their excellent care of Vickie through the years.

She is survived by her sister Sherry Rowland of Newton and Brother David Rowland also of Newton, one niece Jill Rowland and one nephew Daniel Rowland and one great niece Katy Clanton and one great nephew Kolby Clanton. She is also survived by her close friend Wanda Tilford and the extended family and friends of Kidron Bethel Village.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents and sister in law Linda Thomas Rowland.

There will be a reception with family from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, at Menno Hall at Kidron Bethel. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 at Menno Hall with Chaplain Eric Massanari presiding. Visitation will be at Petersen Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be next to her loving parents in Restlawn Gardens of Memory Rural Newton, Kansas.
