Wilma Jean Hybsha

Wilma Jean Hybsha, 90, passed away November 1, 2023 in her home in Spring, Texas.

She was born June 5, 1933 in Peabody, Kansas to Lloyd and Mildred (Ubben) Suffield.

Wilma enjoyed being outside and working on her garden full of flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed collecting coke memorabilia and dolls.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Jennings, sons Kyle (Deanna) Schirer and Brian (Janis) Schirer, step daughter, Lois (Randy) Ross. Sisters, Juanita Birkle and Linda (Harold) Olsen, brother Edwin (Butch) Suffield and sister in laws Bonnie Suffield and Tammy Suffield.  She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Hybsha, son Kent Schirer, sister, Sharolyn Hett, brothers David Suffield and Gerald Suffield, and grandsons Joshua Brittain and Derek Schirer.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Petersen Funeral Home with a graveside service at Claney Cemetery, Marion, Kansas immediately following.  Visitation will be the evening prior on Friday, November 10th from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Order of the Amaranth and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
